Lelemba Phiri, the Financial D.I.V.A is an award winning financial educator, keynote speaker, writer and social entrepreneur. She is the financial expert TV presenter for the ‘My Finances’ Segment of SABC 3′s lifestyle magazine show, The Power Within.She is the co-founder of the Sandras and Lelemba Institute that is dedicated to leadership development through personal mastery.Lelemba is a director for Zoona Transactions Zambia Limited, a mobile payments business that makes transacting in Africa Easy Quick Safe for enterprises and primarily unbanked consumers. The organization leverages mobile technology to create entrepreneurs through an agent network that services primarily unbanked customers. It also enables existing small entrepreneurs by providing them access to finance and financial services.

FINANCIAL EDUCATION
Financial Management Workshops
Lelemba runs monthly Financial Management Workshops with a mission to educate and empower people globally to enrich themselves by developing healthy personal finance habits. Over the last 2 years, she and her team have helped several families in South Africa to get out of financial hell and become financially fit.

Following this success with families, they have spread their expertise to entrepreneurs that want to create sustainable and profitable businesses around their passions and are creating a ripple of success stories across Africa.

Tailor- made financial workshops
Lelemba also runs tailor-made workshops for corporate and non-profit organizations. Her corporate portfolio includes The Foschini Group, MARS Africa and 34 Marketing Specialists whilst she has worked with NPOs such as Organizing for Africa, Business Women Association of South Africa and NETwork
KEYNOTE SPEAKING
Lelemba is a keynote speaker at several entrepreneur’s events and corporate functions. She shares her life story and educates on financial principles in her talks. She believes in inspiring and educating people with real life tools to help them attain ever greater potential.
She was the youngest guest speakers at the 2009 Find Your Inspiration Women’s day event hosted by Inspiring Women and Old Mutual that had over 600 people in attendance
FINANCIAL WRITING
Lelemba is the author of an e-book entitled “Financial Management in Five Workouts” that teaches people key principles that they can apply immediately into their lives to boost their finances. The e-book received great international reviews. Download your free copy of the ebook here.
Lelemba is the financial writer for the Effective Living Magazine that is produced by Journey to Wholeness.

FINANCIAL CONSULTING
Lelemba has consulted with private, public and government organizations for over 8 years in the areas of financial strategy, financial and management accounting, budgets, risk and financial training.  Her experience extends across South Africa, Zambia, Ivory Coast, Ghana and other sub-Saharan African countries.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
Lelemba is a U.K Chartered Accountant (ACCA) and also holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Accounting (Hon) from the Oxford Brookes University. She is currently studying towards a Masters of Commerce in Development Finance at the Graduate School of Business of the University of Cape Town.

Lelemba was featured in the January 2010 edition of the Oprah magazine for being a person that goes after what they want and is inspiring and empowering others.
She was chosen as the Xtraordinary Woman of the month for April 2010 by Xtraordinary Women, an organization that is dedicated to the empowerment of women entrepreneurs.
Lelemba appeared on the cover of Great Women International Website which celebrates great women around the world and their achievements in April 2010.
She was featured on Kim Kiyosaki’s Rich Woman website. She was the first African to appear on the Rich Woman community ‘Real Journeys’ feature.
She has also featured in Foschini CLUB Magazine and Glamour Magazine.

AWARDS
Lelemba was the recipient of the highly contested Rising Star Award at the 2010 Mwape Peer Awards that were held in Washington DC in the USA.  The Mwape Peer Awards recognize Zambian individuals within Zambia and in the Diaspora who have played pivotal roles in their communities. The awards are a symbol of Excellence! Winners are selected by the Selection Committee of Peers (Experts) to reflect the significant roles they have played in their respective fields. She received the Award for her outstanding work as a financial educator.
